Meghan Markle has stunned fans by sharing a throwback video of her twerking with Prince Harry in a bid to induce labour while pregnant with their daughter Lilibet.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, took to Instagram to share the clip set to the song The Baby Momma Dance by Starrkeisha on Instagram to mark the princess’s fourth birthday.
“Four years ago today, this also happened,” she wrote in the accompanying caption.
“Both of our children were a week past their due dates… so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work - there was only one thing left to do,” she added, followed by a crying with laughter emoji.
Comments on the clip were disabled, but it drew many likes from her 3m followers.
Meghan is seen twerking in the footage next to a hospital bed as Harry, wearing a hooded top, dances alongside her.
The mum-of-two also shared two other posts dedicated to her little girl’s special day.
In one photo, she could be seen holding the youngster close on what appeared to be a boat, while another showed the former senior Royal with Lili as a newborn.
“Happy birthday to our beautiful girl!” she penned alongside the images. “Four years ago today she came into our lives - and each day is brighter and better because of it. Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!”
Another post showed husband Harry as the ever-doting dad.
In one shot he gazed lovingly into his swaddled baby daughter’s eyes and in the following one they could be seen walking hand-in-hand across a sandy beach surrounded by palm trees.
The caption on that post read: “The sweetest bond to watch unfold,” alongside two pink hearts.
“Daddy’s little girl and favorite adventurer Happy birthday Lili!”
In addition to Lililbet - who is named after a childhood nickname held by her late grandmother Queen Elizabeth II - Meghan and Harry are proud parents to son Prince Archie, six.
They have tended to keep their children out of the limelight, but have been making more freqent appearances on Meghan’s social media following the launch of her Netflix series With Love, Meghan, which was recently confirmed to have been picked up for a second series.
