Meghan Markle's trip to the National Theatre was a dream come true for this boy

Everyone remembers their first big celebrity crush, but few of us get to actually meet them. For one boy at Edith Neville Primary School, his encounter with Meghan Markle left him more than a little starstruck.

When Meghan Markle visited the National Theatre on Wednesday, one of her newest charity patronages, she sat in on the school’s performance of War Horse. In a photo posted to Kensington Palace’s Twitter account, the Duchess was shown addressing the group of primary school children in a beige skirt suit and high heels.

And due to some co-incidental lighting (or, you know, just the power of love) a spotlight shone on one heart-eyed boy.

The tweet also provided a link to the additional projects that the National Theatre does with primary schools, probably full of children equally as enamoured as this boy was.

Unsurprisingly, it didn’t take long before the Twittersphere got hold of the photo:

He might be besotted, but clearly the kid has competition. A quick glance at this photo of Harry watching Meghan give a speech at her charity cookbook launch says it all:
