Meghan Markle made a touching gesture to her school pals after missing their 20-year reunion.
The Duchess of Sussex could not make the reunion, which took place the day before she gave birth to baby Archie, and sent a letter of apology to the school.
She wrote her message on Kensington Palace headed paper, which means it was likely penned before Meghan and Harry split from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and set up a new office in Buckingham Palace.
The all-girls Catholic Immaculate Heart High School, in Los Angeles, in 1999, previously congratulated Meghan, 37, after the birth of Baby Sussex.

One former friend told the Daily Mail : "Everyone was disappointed that they did not get to catch up with Meghan given everything that has happened to her.
"But the whole group was super excited about her giving birth to the first British-American prince, it was all anyone talked about.
"They were so excited to get that letter from her. She is remembered as someone who is very thoughtful, and to get that kind of attention now that she is a royal went down really well."

The ex-pal hopes the Duchess will be able to make the 25-year reunion - and said Harry and Archie are also welcome to attend.
The catch-up took place on May 5, with Meghan giving birth the next day, prompting one of her classmates to post 'IT'S A BOY' along with a picture of the reunion on social media.
Meghan's dad, Thomas, put up the money for her to attend the fee-paying school, which now costs £13,052 a year.
