Meghan Markle is celebrating a special birthday as today she turns 40.
She's likely to be spending the day with Prince Harry and their young children Archie and Lilibet in California.
And although it has not been confirmed what her birthday plans are, Meghan may be taking part in a sweet birthday tradition that she once revealed is inspired by her mum Doria Ragland.
On her now-defunct lifestyle blog The Tig, Meghan wrote about how she uses her special day to reflect on her life and make wishes about her future.
Writing in 2016, she said: "My mom has always said that birthdays are your own personal New Year.
"Your own chance to make resolutions just for yourself and what you prognosticate for your year ahead."
And according to the blog, Meghan makes the same wish every time her birthday comes around.
She wrote she wanted: "More surprises, more adventure, more opportunities to grow, more days filled with giggles and cheeky jokes, more delicious meals, and more inspiration. Always more inspiration."

However, it was not the first time Meghan had used her blog to talk about her birthdays.
Two years earlier in 2014, on her 33rd birthday, she made a very specific request for a gift from her fans.
She wrote: "I am 33 years old today. And I am happy. And I say that so plainly because, well…it takes time."
And continued: "So for my birthday, here’s what I would like as a gift: I want you to be kind to yourself. I want you to challenge yourself.
"I want you to stop gossiping, to try a food that scares you, to buy a coffee for someone just because, to tell someone you love them…and then to tell yourself right back. I want you to find your happiness.
"I did. And it’s never felt so good."
Meghan ran her blog, named after her favourite red wine, for three years during her days as an actress on the hit TV legal drama Suits.
She closed the website in April 2017, after it was revealed she had been dating Prince Harry.
Today, on her 40th birthday, Meghan was sent birthday wishes from the Queen, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.
The Monarch used the official royal family Instagram account to share the message, which reads: "Wishing the Duchess of Sussex a very happy birthday today!"
She also posted three photos of Meghan, including one of the two women together during their visit to Chester in 2018.
Prince William and Kate shared a photo from Meghan's royal tour of Australia with the message: "Wishing a happy 40th birthday to The Duchess of Sussex!"
While Charles and Camilla shared a picture of Meghan from an event in Windsor in 2019 with the message: "Wishing The Duchess of Sussex a very happy 40th birthday."
