The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have welcome a new baby girl to the world, named after the Queen's nickname.
Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor was delivered in California on Friday and weighs 7lb 11oz.
Meghan Markle's press secretary made the announcement adding mum and baby, who will be known as Lili, are doing well.
Meghan and Prince Harry sensationally quit the royal family last year and now live in the US where the former actress was born and raised.
But Harry retained his place in the line of succession which means Lili is eighth in line.
This means she shares something in common with a relative who is 51st in line - Seven-year-old Maud Windsor.
Both are the only people in line to the throne who were born in the US.
Maud Windsor was born in Los Angeles in 2013 and is the daughter of Lord Frederick and Sophie Winkelman.
Lord Frederick is the son of the Queen's cousin Prince Michael of Kent and grew up in Kensington Palace next to Prince Harry and Prince William.
Sophie, who is also known as Lady Frederick Windsor, is a British actress, best known for playing Big Suze in Peep Show.
When Maud was born she was the 42nd in line but following the birth of other royal members including Archie, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte she has been bumped down nine places.
Her family returned to the UK before her younger sister Isabella was born and she goes to the same school and is in the same year as Prince George.
Maud acted as bridesmaid for Princess Eugenie wedding to Jack Brooksbank.
The first seven places in line to the throne remain unchanged - the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Cambridge, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, Harry, and Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.
But the Duke of York, who was born second in line in 1960, has now moved down to ninth.
His youngest, Princess Eugenie, has fallen out of the top 10 to become 11th in line, and her son August has moved to 12th place, the Earl of Wessex to 13th place and the Princess Royal to 16th.
There will be further changes in the autumn when Beatrice's baby arrives and becomes 11th in line.
The Queen and the royal family said they were 'delighted' with the news of Lili's arrival.
A Buckingham Palace spokesperson said: “The Queen, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been informed and are delighted with the news of the birth of a daughter for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge tweeted: "We are all delighted by the happy news of the arrival of baby Lili. Congratulations to Harry, Meghan and Archie."
