Meghan Markle's mind 'changed' by Kate Middleton about travelling to Balmoral after Queen died

Meghan Markle "changed her mind" about heading to Balmoral to see the Queen following her death - thanks to Kate Middleton - according to reports.

According to the Daily Mail, biographer Omid Scobie tweeted that seeing that the new Princess of Wales was not travelling north had "changed" Meghan's mind about accompanying her husband. Reports suggest Meghan was heading north of the border with Prince Harry.

In tweets on Thursday, he said Meghan would be remaining in London “like the Duchess of Cambridge”. Meghan's plan to head to Scotland with the Duke of Sussex “raised eyebrows” among certain royals, according to reports.

Meghan and Harry were referenced by his dad Charles, now the King, in his first televised address this evening. Charles sent the pair "love" as they continue to build their life in the United States. Harry returned to the country and rushed to Balmoral yesterday following a stint in Dusseldorf.

Harry and Meghan have recently been staying at Frogmore Cottage after they returned to the UK for an event in Manchester. They then went on to Germany, before flying back to the UK, where they are staying a stone's throw from the Cambridges new house Adelaide Cottage, at Windsor.

Kate took her three kids to Lambrook School for their first day back yesterday, after a settling in day earlier this week.
