The make up artist of Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has become one of her first friends to congratulate her and Prince Harry on the arrival of their son - joking he will be a ‘guncle’ to the newborn.
Daniel Martin took to Instagram to share his joy and excitement at the news that Harry and Meghan had welcomed their first child.
Reposting a statement on the Royals’ own Instagram page announcing the arrival of the baby boy, Daniel wrote he was “Proud #guncle” along with a blue heart and raised hands emojis.
Guncle is a term that means Gay Uncle - with Daniel clearly excited to meet the youngest member of the royal family.

Daniel and Meghan have been friends for years - with the make-up artist recently visiting the young royals at their home.
Fans all over the world have been taking to social media to congratulate the pair - while others in the UK have hit the pubs to celebrate.
Prince Harry announced the arrival of his son to new reporters on Monday afternoon.

“I am very excited to announce that Meghan and myself had a baby boy earlier this morning,” Harry explained.
“Mother and baby are doing incredibly well. It has been the most amazing experience I could ever have possibly imagined,” he continued.
While the official announcement on Harry and Meghan's Instagram page garnered more than 1.2 million likes in less than one hour as the news was broken.
