Although Talia Brown Thall, from Toronto, Canada, has lost touch with the Duchess of Sussex - she says she wasn't surprised to learn she was dating Prince Harry .

Why Meghan Markle won't be able to keep all the gifts she's sent for royal baby

Talia told People magazine: "It sounds weird but I always knew Meghan was ready for big things.

"I didn't know what they were, but her energy and her desires were always grand.

"She was always working away, she never stopped!"

Talia introduced Meghan to Canadian brands, including Sentaler, and now The Duchess of Sussex is regularly seen wearing the brand's wrap coats.

Meghan's style is "classic and clean" according to Talia and she went on to say that she thought Meghan would be a great mum.

The stylist said she learnt about the couple's engagement through social media - as she lost touch with Meghan in 2016.

The move is a break from tradition as it means Meghan will probably not pose on the hospital steps with her new baby.
