Thomas Markle Snr has revealed how he tried to make amends with estranged daughter Meghan Markle on her 40th birthday.
The 77-year-old - who has never met Harry or his grandkids - claims he sent his daughter a bunch of roses as he tried to mend their broken relationship.
But as of yet he says he's had no response from the former Suits star.
"I really didn't expect to hear back but I tried none the less," he said.
Thomas, who lives approximately 70 miles away from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, bared all in a telling interview with Dan Wootton on GB News on Thursday night.
He explained how his birthday bouquet of red roses included two yellow roses as a symbol of his two grandchildren Archie and Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor.

He told the presenter: "I wished her a happy birthday and brighter days ahead but I've not heard back."
Thomas had previously confessed that he was "confused" as to why his relationship with his daughter broke down and fought with his emotions as he discussed his grandkids with the presenter.
With his health deteriorating, he admitted he was fearful that he may never get the chance to see Archie and Lili, but said he did hold out hope that he'd be able to one day.
"I call her Lili, that's my Lili," Thomas said. "It's the perfect name for her. But, I don't think Lilibet is necessary, Lili is the perfect name.
"I'd like to see her, I'd dearly like to see her. I want to hold her, same with Archie."
He has previously threatened to take Meghan to court in a bid to push through visitation rights.
Thomas went on to blame Harry for his and Meghan's strained relationship and for his daughter's change in ways.

He said: "I don't know if he's the one behind it, but I really think that Harry and some of her friends have changed her. I love my daughter, but I don't always like what they're doing."
He also labelled his daughter as a liar for her comments made in the explosive Oprah Winfrey interview in March.
"She's been lying for years," he clamed. "She's been lying on and off over different things for years, lying about the Archbishop? How can you lie about the Archbishop? How can you say we got married three days before the wedding when they didn't?"
