Meghan Markle royal baby: Private ambulance with police escort 'spotted in Windsor'

Everyone is on the lookout for any teeny tiny sign Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's royal baby might be on the way.

But the latest reported 'sighting' which has made people very excited - and many think this could be it.

BBC presenter Simon McCoy claims a private ambulance with a police escort has been spotted driving through Windsor.

Hmmm...

In the last few days people have spotted an ambulance parked near the back entrance to Harry and Meghan's home Frogmore Cottage , and a police escort driving on the route between Windsor and London.

It seems that they were both false alarms, as Buckingham Palace has said the baby definitely hasn't been born yet.

ITV's Chris Ship believes the latest development might also be nothing to get excited about, and later tweeted his views on the sighting.

He wrote: It went in the front entrance. Anything for Meghan would never go that way."

The Mirror has contacted Buckingham Palace for a comment.

The couple have broken from royal tradition and kept all details surrounding the birth a secret.

Unlike Princess Diana and the Duchess of Cambridge, Meghan will not introduce her baby to the world on the steps outside hospital hours after giving birth.

Instead, the couple have said they will share the news once they've had time to "celebrate privately as a family".

They're expected to invite a few select members of the media to a photocall at Windsor Castle.

There's also a chance they might announce their news on their Instagram page.
