Meghan Markle re-wears Aquazzura heels from her engagement announcement to the National Theatre

On Wednesday Meghan Markle visited the National Theatre to see how the organisation uses arts and community as a force for change.

For her first official engagement as patron of the theatre, the heavily pregnant duchess stepped out in head-to-toe neutrals, an aesthetic which is becoming Meghan's go-to maternity look. Previously, Meghan wore a cream £24.99 H&M dress and matching coat to animal welfare centre The Mayhew.

The outfit, from Brandon Maxwell's spring/summer 2019 catwalk, may not have been much of a surprise, but Meghan did dust off a recognisable accessory.

The 37-year-old matched the ensemble with a pair of criss-cross nude pumps, the same pair she'd worn for her and Prince Harry's official engagement announcement in November 2017.

The recognisable heels are by Aquazzura, a luxury Italian footwear brand founded in 2011 which has since become a firm fave with celebrities.

Meghan herself has beeen seen in numerous different shoe styles by the label since becoming a royal, even wearing a bespoke pair of heels by the brand for her wedding reception in May 2018.

This is the first time the duchess has re-worn the now iconic shoes.
