Meghan Markle 'pimped out Prince Harry after realising he has no money', says Megyn Kelly

Meghan Markle 'pimped out' Prince Harry after realising he 'has no money', claims outspoken US presenter Megyn Kelly.

In a fiery rant, the American broadcaster claimed the reason Harry wrote Spare was due to the couple's worrying financial position - and Meghan "chose the poor one" out of the Royal Family.

Kelly attacked the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after reports emerged they had been kicked out of Frogmore Cottage by King Charles.

Harry and Meghan have now broken their silence to confirm they have been "requested to vacate" from the home which was gifted to them by the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Rubbing salt in the wounds, Kelly said Meghan had wound up with a "prince who's a pauper" and cruelly suggests she would be looking to "trade up" from Harry.

She was responding to claims made by royal expert Tom Bower, who claimed the former Suits actress was "surprised and disappointed" by her husband's financial situation.

Speaking about the Sussexes to Sky News Australia's Paul Murray on Wednesday, Kelly said: "He's got fame and he gave her that for sure, she's now a household name when she wasn't…but he doesn't have any money.

Kelly said Meghan had made every effort to ensure the couple could continue to afford their lifestyle.

"It all makes sense how she's pimped him out to write the memoir… she needed that money - they got a $20 million advance on Spare," she claimed.

"And she's crying all the way to the bank now because they've got that, they've got the $100 million Netflix deal, they've got a $50 million Spotify deal."

Kelly doesn't believe Meghan will stick around once the pair's funds run dry, claiming she will "try to trade up in five years or under".

"You mark my words she's going to blow through that in about two years in Montecito, one of the most expensive communities in America," she said.

"She's going to try to trade up for some American hedge-funder billionaire what-have-you, who can keep her in the true manner in which she would like to become accustomed."

Kelly has made her feelings on the Sussexes very clear - and earlier on in the week she branded them "selfish brats".

Launching a brutal assault on the ex-working royals, she claimed as public figures they simply can't expect to 'control the narrative' as they have attempted to with their docuseries release.

Kelly cried: "'We just wanted to control our narrative'. Well, you're public figures, you don't get to! Shut up! You think Joe Biden would like control his public narrative?

"Get over it! You don't get to do that. Once you become a public figure, it's fair game for us to comment on you. And guess what else? It doesn't always tend to be laudatory, especially when you're selfish brats like the two of you."

Kelly then suggested the pair only had themselves to blame for their drop in popularity, claiming that by "airing their dirty laundry" they have exposed themselves to "our worst suspicions than ones we conjured up in our heads".

The American presenter also discussed the latest South Park episode, in which the Sussexes were depicted as the fictional 'Prince and Princess of Canada.

Show creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone targeted everything, from Harry's frostbitten todger to Meghan's magazine covers, even sending the pair on a 'Worldwide Privacy Tour'.

Addressing the episode, Megyn added: "[South Park] saw through every veneer that this phoney pair put up."

Harry and Meghan have bigger problems to worry about now, as they have now lost their only UK base.

It's been claimed Frogmore Cottage has now been offered to Prince Andrew, who has been living in 30-bedroom Royal Lodge.

A spokesperson for the Sussexes said last night: "We can confirm The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been requested to vacate their residence at Frogmore Cottage."

Charles's decision was said to have come after the Duke of Sussex released his controversial memoir Spare in January.

Biographer Omid Scobie, co-author of the book about Harry and Meghan Finding Freedom said the couple were told the property was needed for "someone else".

Relations between Harry and Meghan and the rest of the Firm are said to be at "an all-time low".

Writing for Yahoo, Scobie explained: "It's news, sources tell me, that has left Harry and Meghan stunned, and at least two members of the Royal Family 'appalled'."

He also quoted a friend of the couple as saying: "It all feels very final and like a cruel punishment. It’s like [the family] want to cut them out of the picture for good."
