Meghan Markle has shared a touching photograph of Prince Harry hugging Archie and Lilibet to mark Father’s Day.
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, posted the photo on Instagram with the caption: “They’re so lucky to have you. We all are. Happy Father’s Day to our one and only.”
Harry is pictured on his knees in the image while embracing Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five.
In the photo, Lilibet is wearing white shorts and carrying a giraffe teddy on her back, while Archie is wearing an England Fifa World Cup t-shirt.
It comes as the Royal family also shared a photograph of Prince William with his daughter Princess Charlotte to mark his 44th birthday and Father’s Day.
In the picture, which was taken in the gardens of Kensington Palace, William appears in his Irish Guards uniform with his arm around Charlotte who is wearing a white formal dress.
The photo is captioned: “Happy birthday and Father’s Day to the best Papa in the World! We love you very much. C, G, C & L.”
The Duke of Sussex is expected to bring his family to the UK for the first time in four years to attend the one-year countdown event for the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham.
His children have not seen their grandfather, King Charles III, in person since June 2022, when they last visited for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been offered a royal residence to stay in during their trip, but it is understood they have not yet responded to the invitation.
On previous visits, Prince Harry declined the offer to stay at Buckingham Palace over security concerns.
Last year, Prince Harry spoke of his desire for a “reconciliation” with his family in an emotional interview with the BBC.
But it is understood there are major obstacles which continue to block a full reunion, primarily around ongoing disputes over his family's security, trust issues, and strained lines of communication.
