Meghan Markle lands Disney role as she quits Royal Family

Meghan Markle 's first job since quitting the Royal Family has been officially announced.

The Duchess of Sussex has narrated Disney+'s new film Elephant, which will air on April 3.

The Disneynature channel revealed the news today on Twitter, saying: "Disneynature’s Elephant, an Original Movie narrated by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, starts streaming April 3, only on  #DisneyPlus."

And Disney+ launched this week much to the nation's excitement and it includes hundreds of our favourite Disney-owned films and television series.

It normally costs £5.99 a month, but they are offering a seven day free trial.

Prior to marrying Prince Harry, Meghan was a successful actress, who was best known for her role as Rachel Zane in Suits.

This week marks Meghan and Harry's last as members of the Royal Family, with Megxit set to take place on March 31.
