Meghan Markle just weathered a snow storm in knee-high heeled boots

Despite the freezing temperatures and falling snow the Duke and Duchess of Sussex continued with their royal duties on Friday morning, arriving in Bristol for a day of engagements.

Whilst the majority of us attempted to resist the urge to throw on every item in our wardrobe, the pregnant duchess effortlessly nailed snow day style.

Wrapping up in a black coat by William Vintage and matching scarf, Meghan pulled off an effortessly chic silhouette.

However, the most eye-catching and surprising item of the 37-year-old's outfit was a pair of heeled khaki knee-high boots, a brave shoe choice for the icy conditions.

The $695 (£532) olive shoes were from US brand Sarah Flint and featured a 3.3 inch (85mm) heel, the website explaining that the "half-rubber sole increases grip and durability for year-round wear".

As heavy snow continued to fall, Meghan seemed unfazed by her choice of footwear, mastering the slippy cobbled streets like a royal pro.

Once inside, Meghan debuted a new designer dress by Oscar de la Renta. The £2,335 belted printed silk-chiffon midi dress covered in a unique animal and flower print that included birds and deer.

Meghan, we salute your sartorial snow style.
