Meghan Markle has been called a 'perfect' choice to narrate Disney's latest nature documentary.
The Duchess of Sussex narrates the new Disney Nature film Elephant, which dropped on the streaming service Disney+ today.
Elephant follows an elephant family matriarch Gaia and her sister Shani and Shani's baby boy Jomo set out on a quest for a lush paradise, leading to threats from vicious predators, sweltering heat, and a dwindling food supplies.
The film is Meghan's first major venture since she and husband Prince Harry controversially stepped down as senior members of the royal family and ended their full-time public duties.
The former Suits actress has been slammed by critics for her role in Elephant, who labelled it "cheesy" and "over-eager to please".
However, Disney+ viewers have now had their say on the Duchess' voice role in Elephant and they were much kinder.
One fan wrote on Twitter : Currently watching @Disneynature ’s #Elephant narrated by Duchess Meghan Markle of Sussex on @DisneyPlus. So far, it’s really beautiful and well-told."
Another went out of their way to comment: " #DisneyPlus I am now watching Elephant before I go to work. MEGHAN MARKLE have a nice voice."
"I could watch a hold series of Meghan Markle just narrating," opined another viewer.
Elsewhere, a different admirer tweeted: "Just watched #ElephantOnDisneyPlus. It really is a lovely watch for families and even made me cry at a couple of points.
"The music and cinematography is true Disney, mixed with the true beauty of nature just allowed to be...nature. #MeghanMarkle suited it perfectly. "
