Meghan Markle has 'skeletons in the closet' which could be released in the future, a royal biographer believes.
Journalist Tom Bower, who is writing a biography on the Duchess of Sussex, said Meghan's estranged father has held back 'embarrassing' details about her.
The author called on the royal to speak to the men from her past to stop them sharing damaging information about her life.
In a damning interview, Mr Bower also slammed Meghan and Prince Harry's decision to isolate themselves from their loved ones, describing this as a 'poisonous choice'.
He told Closer magazine: "She was really family-orientated when she was younger, but she seems to have completely erased memories of that and disowned him (her father Thomas Markle).
"Similarly, she cut off her ex-husband when her career started taking off. She seems to me to be a very ambitious, unforgiving person. But I think, much to her dismay, more will come out.

"I think Thomas is keeping some things back and that he has a lot of embarrassing stuff on her. There are skeletons in the closet and, when provoked, I think the secrets could all come out."
Mr Bower added that Harry and Meghan have isolated themselves in California, hoping it will make them stronger.
However, the author believes the move will simply alienate them from their families.
He added that it was sad for both them and their children Archie and Lilibet.
Mr Bower criticised Meghan, calling her a 'very stubborn person', and said he thinks she will eventually accept her and Harry's decision to create an isolated world was a 'poisonous choice'.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex caught fans by surprise in January 2020 when they announced their plans to step down as senior royals and become financially independent.
Since then, the pair have moved from the UK to California with their son Archie and in June this year, they welcomed their daughter Lilibet.
Meghan has a rocky relationship with her father Thomas, who has never met his two grandchildren.
The pair have not spoken for almost four years after it emerged he staged a photoshoot with paparazzi just before her wedding to Harry.
In a recent interview on Good Morning Britain, Thomas branded her 'childish' and 'silly' and said he would keep speaking to the media until he hears from her.
