Meghan Markle had the Ellen DeGeneres Show viewers in hysterics in scenes which showed her pranking the public.
The 40-year-old was on the chat show, hosted by Ellen DeGeneres, earlier and took part in a popular segment that sees guests follow her instructions whilst wearing an earpiece - often putting them in awkward situations.
Ellen said that it was "the first thing" that the Duchess of Sussex had mentioned after agreeing to appear on the show, with her episode airing in the US earlier today.
The comedian and chat show host told her audience, and viewers, that production had set up hidden cameras for the prank near street vendors situated outside the TV studio.
The host explained: "I sent Meghan out to do some shopping. She wore an earpierce and had to say and do everything I told her do." She explained that the former actor was accompanied by one of the show's writers.
The prank saw Meghan undertake a number of bizarre acts in front of unsuspecting members of the public, including having to randomly squat and drink from a baby's bottle.
She was also tasked, by Ellen in her ear, with shopping for crystals and ended up holding a crystal to hear head whilst chanting - with the vendor visibly unsure how to respond.
The former actor, who married Prince Harry in 2018, also had to eat food "like a chipmunk" and perform a song about being a kitten whilst wearing cat ears.
The prank had viewers in hysterics, with several praising Meghan for being a willing participant. "What a good sport," one viewer said on Twitter in response to the scenes.
The segment was dubbed "hilarious" by others, with some fans expressing joy at seeing a different side of the Duchess of Sussex. One tweeted: "I love seeing her funny side."
Some fans said they were "crying" with laughter, with one viewer describing the segment on the latest episode of the Ellen DeGeneres Show as "comedy gold."
"I'm dying," tweeted another viewer after seeing the prank, whilst another said: "Meghan doing these pranks are hilarious."
