Meghan Markle could find brands 'hesitant' to create partnership after Dior and Spotify snub

Meghan Markle's next career move might be up in the air following her Spotify podcast axe and alleged Dior snub.

And, according to a celebrity PR expert, she might find that companies are going to be hesitant to dive into a partnership with the former Suits star, 41.

However, despite that being the case, all is far from lost for the Duchess of Sussex whose name could still be a big enough pull for a number of top brands.

That's the thoughts of PR to the stars Chad Teixeira. Speaking to the Mirror, the CEO of Daddy The Agency said: "Given the recent setbacks with Spotify and Dior, it is likely that Meghan will be considering her next steps carefully.

"Her reputation precedes her, and with her credible status, she holds the potential to partner with large brands. However, these recent snubs may create hesitation among potential partners."

Chad continued: "It is important that her next move be strategic and aligned with her core values and personal brand, which will not only help her navigate potential partnerships but also resonate with her audience."

Meghan and Prince Harry were dealt a blow last week when Spotify pulled the plug on their multi-million pound contract for their Archetypes podcast.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's lucrative Spotify deal, which was estimated to be worth £18million was dropped after just one series.

It ran for 12 episodes from August last year and had been expected to continue. However, the company decided to bring their time together to an end.

It's been revealed that Netflix could still offer the duo more contracts and has supposedly asked them to come up with ideas for new series following the success of their docu-series.

One which is said to be in the works is a Great Expectations-inspired show. The work is said to be titled Bad Manners and is thought to be based on Charles Dickens' character Miss Havisham.

The prequel will reportedly recast the lonely spinster as a strong woman who is living in a patriarchal society.

It's one of a number of potential shows the couple have in the locker with a documentary on the Invictus Games set to be produced.
