Meghan Markle could announce pregnancy before the end of the year, royal insiders believe

Excitement for a new royal arrival is hitting fever pitch as royal experts predict Meghan Markle to reveal pregnancy news soon.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are likely to be too busy focusing on their busy itinery of royal duties this autumn to announce anything just yet.

But palace experts believe the couple's return from their Africa trip later this year could be the perfect timing to announce baby Archie's expected sibling.

In fact royal insider Melanie Bromley thinks it could be as early as the end of this year that the news drops.

E! Chief Correspondent Melanie told excitable fans when asked if she thinks it will happen: "I do, and I think it will be really soon.

"I think she will be pregnant by this time next year."

The mere suggestion that Meghan will soon develop another bump has seen a flurry of bets placed on a new arrival, the Express reports.

Coral spokesman Alex Apati said: "We have been inundated over the last few days with bets on Harry and Meghan having a second baby in 2020, and as always with gambles of this kind, there is seldom smoke without fire.

"Baby fever could soon be taking over the Royal Family once again and despite only giving birth a matter of weeks ago, we wouldn't be surprised if Harry and Meghan have the bug."

But while fever around a new young Sussex is rising, the Duchess, who has lived a strictly private life since Archie's birth, is likely to keep the matter veiled for the moment.

Earlier this month, Harry and Meghan organised an intimate and private christening for Archie - also revealing his godparents would not be named publicly.

The couple came under criticism for the decision, with some saying they 'wanted it both ways'.

However, last week Meghan was seen holding Archie as she attended a royal charity polo match.

Vicious trolls accused her of holding the little boy awkwardly and not having a clue what she was doing.

Meghan was also seen paying touching tribute to Archie as she attended Wimbledon to watch her good friend Serena Williams play.

The minimalist chain had a small 'A' swinging at its centre.

Photos of them hanging out with Kate Middleton, George, Charlotte and Louis quickly emerged and the new mum soon began attracting  criticism for how she was holding her baby.
