Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's house move delayed as they keep making changes

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will have to wait to move into their new home because the 'demanding' royal couple keep making design changes, it has been claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now expecting to receive the keys next month after delays to work to restore the listed Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

They were hoping to be living there this week but work has fallen behind due to the number of alterations made during the £3million makeover.

A source close to the couple told The Sun builders have been working all week to make the changes.

"It’s been all hands to the pump. The builders have worked all week whatever the weather . But they keep making changes, particularly on the layout.

"The word is they’ve been quite demanding, which is understandable as what homeowner doesn’t want their house to be perfect?"

It is set to be a busy month for the couple with Meghan set to give birth in late April to their first child.

The Sun reports they are hoping to move in the week before the baby is due but are pleased with the works taking place despite running behind schedule.

Several interior walls have been demolished inside the Grade II listed building, formerly split into five apartments used as staff quarters.

The amendments mean the house will have five massive en suite bedrooms.

The house boasts stunning views across Windsor Great Park and gardens where the couple held their wedding party.

It is also reported Meghan and Harry will be without a home in London as they are moving out of Kensington Palace but could be offered an apartment in Buckingham Palace following a major £369million refurbishment.
