Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's £10m US home 'breached twice by intruder'

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's £10 million home has reportedly been breached twice by an intruder.

Nickolas Brooks, 37, was first caught trespassing in the royal couple's Santa Barbara home on December 24, before showing up again on December 26, TMZ reports.

Brooks was let off with a warning after the first incident, however he was arrested after the second, it is claimed.

Sources told TMZ that he had driven from Ohio to Santa Barbara.

He was reportedly charged with one count of misdemeanor trespassing.

It comes after Harry and Meghan spoke out about their security being stripped away in their interview with Oprah.

They accused Buckingham Palace of failing to protect their son by taking away their security.

Harry said the couple's multimillion pound deals with Netflix and Spotify were "never part of the plan", but they needed cash to pay for protection.

He added: "That was suggested by somebody else by the point of where my family literally cut me off financially, and I had to afford security for us."

The Duke of Sussex said he was completely reliant on money left by his late mother, Princess Diana, after he was "cut off financially" when he stepped back from royal duties.

He said he and Meghan "genuinely hadn't thought" about cutting streaming deals, but added: "And look, from my perspective, all I needed was enough money to be able to pay for security to keep my family safe."

It is understood the pair are earning upwards of £80million from Netflix and Spotify shows.
