Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have shared surprise throwback images on their joint Instagram account to celebrate the two year anniversary of their engagement announcement.
The royal couple were together for 16-months before their engagement in November of 2017 and have since celebrated many milestones as a couple, including the birth of their son Archie.
The Sussex Royal account shared a slideshow of milestone shots from the Duke and Duchess’ relationship so far, with an engagement shoot, wedding day picture as well as a photo taken days after their son Archie’s birth this year.
The caption of the Instagram post read, “On this day, two years ago: 27th of November 2017, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced the news of their engagement, later becoming Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex! They have since celebrated their wedding anniversary and welcomed their son, Archie, into the world ❤”
It was recently announced that Prince Harry and Meghan wouldn’t be spending Christmas with The Queen and the rest of the Windsors and instead will be spending the holiday with Meghan’s mother Doria.
A spokesperson for the couple said, “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are looking forward to extended family time towards the end of this month. Having spent the last two Christmases at Sandringham, Their Royal Highnesses will spend the holiday this year, as a new family, with the Duchess's mother, Doria Ragland.”
