Meghan Markle and Prince Harry 'arrive in Rome' ahead of friend Misha Nonoo's wedding

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly landed in Italy ahead of their mutual friend Misha Nonoo's wedding tomorrow.

According to the Mail Online's royal correspondent Emily Andrews the couple have been spotted arriving in Rome - but there's no sign of Archie.

Fashion designer Misha is one of Meghan's closest friends, and many insiders claim she acted as matchmaker for the Duke and Duchess.

The 31-year-old is marrying her oil tycoon boyfriend Mikey Hess in what's sure to be a luxurious and star-studded ceremony.

Other possible guests include President Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, and Ellie Goulding.

Meghan recently worked with Misha on her Smart Set fashion collection, which she launched in London just last week.

However there was no sign of baby Archie when the the Sussexes arrived in Rome.

Posting on Twitter , Emily wrote: "Eagle Italian eyes tell me that Harry & Meghan were spotted arriving in Rome today for tomorrow’s wedding of the Duchess’ best mate Misha Nonoo to US oil tycoon Michael Hess.

"Misha, who helped introduce Harry to Meghan, collaborated on the highly successful Smart Set collection.

"Archie was not with them-the Duke & Duchess of Sussex are enjoying a bit of down-time before their full-on royal tour of Africa which starts on Monday.

"They’ll fly to Cape Town then Harry will go to Botswana, Angola & Malawi before re-uniting with Archie & Meg in Jo’burg."

Meghan and Misha met in December 2014 at an art fair called Art Basel in Miami, and later “danced the night away and sipped cocktails”.

Misha was a guest at Meghan and Harry's Royal Wedding and flew to New York for her baby shower ahead of Archie's birth.

Meghan previously described Misha as “chic, badass, and cut from the cloth of those who don’t take themselves too seriously.”

And she added that she was “the kind of woman you instantly adore.”

The pair bonded over their passion for gender equality, the empowerment of women, and dogs.

It's the start of a busy few weeks for Meghan and Harry, as they are due to head off on their Africa Royal Tour on Monday.

It's the first time they will take Archie on tour, but they are yet to announce when we will get to see their little boy.

Meghan and Harry will carry out a number of joint engagements in South Africa before Harry goes off to Botswana, Angola and Malawi on his own.
