Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton sit together at Wimbledon final despite reported feud

Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have been spotted sitting together in the Royal Box ahead of the women's final between Serena Williams and Simona Halep.

Both Kate and Meghan are big tennis fans, and are expected to be supporting Serena this afternoon, who is one of Meghan's closest friends.

Meghan arrived just before the match wearing a plain white shirt with a pleated long blue patterned skirt.

Kate arrived a little earlier donning a emerald green short-sleeved Dolce and Gabbana dress with gold buttons.

The pair are accompanied by Kate's sister Pippa Middleton, who is sat to the left of Meghan.

It is the first time the pair have been seen together in public in an official capacity following rumours of a fall out between the two royal couples.

Meghan attended Wimbledon to watch Serena play last week. Claims were made that spectators were asked not to take photographs of the Duchess, who was at the event in a "private capacity".

Serena was asked about the criticism of her good friend following her victory against Barbora Strycova.

She replied: "You know, I didn't know there was negative media out there.

"Any time I see her name attached to anything, I don't read it.

"She couldn't be a better friend to me. Low moments, high moments, she's always there.

"That's all I want to be to her."

Kate has been a regular attendee at Wimbledon since 2011 has also attended previous Wimbledon matches this year, including that of British Harriet Dart and American Christina McHale.
