Meghan Markle and Harry could live in California with baby, Duchess' brother claims

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting the arrival of their first child in coming days.

However, while the child looks set to be born in the home counties, the Duchess' brother Thomas believes it wont be long before the royal couple consider buying a home in Los Angeles.

Thomas Jr thinks his sister will persuade her husband to set down roots in her home city.

Harry is thought to be a fan of the United States and served time there at an army training base in California.

In the past month it has been claimed that the royal couple could be deployed abroad for the monarchy, with Africa being suggested.

But Thomas, 52, told the Sunday Express he believes a new home on the beach might be a more attractive proposition.

He said: “Who would not like this? Once you grow up as a child on the beach, you are always going to go back to it. Meghan was brought up in this environment, moved and is groomed into Hollywood life.

“The Hollywood lifestyle is the southern California lifestyle – the sun, beach, bright lights, the city, studios and the movie business.

“She will always be a Hollywood southern California woman at heart.”

In the meantime, Thomas said he believes Meghan will look to repeat her California upbringing with her new child in London.

He said: “I think it is going to have a great impact on the way she raises the new baby in the family and the things she brings into the baby’s life.

“All the joy that was brought into her life and all the wonderful memories. She is going to pass that on.”
