Meghan Markle and Harry tell agent type of role that's 'off limit' as they seek work

After stepping down from their roles as senior members of the Royal Family, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are on the look out for new business opportunities.

They are now free to make their own money as they move to become financially independent, and it's fair to assume the offers have been coming in thick and fast.

Meghan has already given her voice to a new Disney film, which hits the small screen today, and fans are hoping more acting roles may be in the pipeline.

But there is one type of job Harry has reportedly told their agent Nick Collins they will not do.

A source told the Daily Mail that while the "easy storyline" many companies want to focus on it Meghan and Harry's decision to quit royal life, they're refusing to do anything that could be seen as negative towards the Queen and the rest of the Firm.

The source told the newspaper: "Offers have come flooding in to Collins for Harry and Meghan. They are worth tens of millions of dollars and some offers are absolutely in their wheelhouse of charity ideas, however some are straight up advertising and marketing promotions and commercials.

"And of course having a narrative about Harry and Meghan either reflecting on their royal links or stepping away is an easy storyline. However, Harry has instructed his and Meghan's team to nix anything that in any way could be negative towards the royals. Essentially anything that is negative to the Queen, Prince Charles, his brother or the throne is off limits.

"It shows that even though he has stepped away from royal life, he does not want to upset his grandmother or father."

Meghan reportedly didn't receive a penny for her first non-royal role, the narration of Disneynature's Elephant - which she recorded before the couple officially quit.

Despite Disney being worth an astounding $130 billion, Meghan instead bagged the deal in return for a donation to an elephant charity.

The Times reported that Meghan's signing was in return for a donation to Elephants Without Borders, a conservationist group that focuses on protecting elephants from poachers.

The film, which follows an elephant family's "extraordinary 1,000 mile journey across Africa on an adventure that will change their lives", have received mixed reviews from critics.
