Meghan Markle admits she is 'not ok and struggling' with pressures of royal life

Meghan Markle has admitted she is struggling with the pressures of royal life, in a tearful interview during her African tour.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex took their baby son Archie on their recent Royal tour of southern Africa, with the cameras yet again focused on Meghan.

A behind the scenes documentary about their tour is set to air this weekend and in a preview clip Meghan admits she has struggled with becoming a new mum and a newly wed.

The programme - Harry & Meghan: An African Journey - follows the royal couple as they focused on the causes and issues they care about most during their recent visit.

With Meghan simply replying "Yes."

Tom asked how Meghan had found meeting some of the women at a project working against violence.

she said: "Oh my goodness, it’s the most inspiring, we just got here and to see everything that they are doing but also that it’s not just the girls that are feeling empowered, it’s all the roles of the men and the young boys who are also helping them."
