Meghan makes surprise appearance on hit reality show during Australia trip

The Duchess of Sussex made a surprise cameo on a hit Australian reality TV show during her first visit to the country since a royal tour in 2018.

Meghan received a huge applause from judges and contestants as she walked into the MasterChef kitchen, appearing on the show as a guest judge in a yet-to-be-released episode.

"We've had MasterChef royalty in the kitchen before, but no one like this", presenter Poh Ling Yeow said on Wednesday (15 April) as she introduced the Duchess.

Unlike the Duke and Duchess’s first visit, their 2026 trip is in a private capacity as they stepped back as working members of the royal family in 2020.
