Meghan denies still using HRH title after it appeared in podcast video

  • Representatives for Meghan Markle have denied that she continues to use her HRH title after stepping back from royal duties in 2020.
  • A gift card bearing the HRH title was displayed during a podcast interview hosted by IT Cosmetics founder Jamie Kern Lima. It said: “With Compliments of HRH The Duchess of Sussex”.
  • While no formal legal measures prevent their use, an agreement with the late Queen stipulated that Prince Harry and Meghan would cease using the word "Royal" following their departure from official duties.
  • Meghan stated in the interview that she and Harry are enjoying a "honeymoon" phase after gaining "breathing space" from royal life.
  • She praised Harry for prioritising their family's safety and described him as having a beautiful heart.
