With the release of the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue on Monday, actress Megan Fox was featured as one of the four cover models on this year’s edition of the iconic magazine.
Fox is a veteran model, having graced the covers of magazines such as Maxim, Rolling Stone, FHM, GQ, Interview and Cosmopolitan. However, she became a household name not for her modeling—but for her performances in movies.

Many people were first introduced to Fox in the 2007 blockbuster hit Transformers, in which she stared alongside Shia LaBeouf. Since then, she has starred in movies such as Jennifer’s Body, and she also plays April O’Neil in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.
Sixteen years later, she found herself on the beach at Tropicalia in the Miches region of the Dominican Republic shooting with photographer Greg Swales. Despite all Fox’s experience on Hollywood red carpets and in extravagant photo shoots, posing for SI Swim was a role that even Fox felt nervous performing.

“Shooting Sports Illustrated Swimsuit is definitely a lot of pressure,” she told SI Swim. “I have a vision in my head that I’m trying to achieve, so we’ll see if it pans out for me.”
The other three cover models for the 2023 SI Swimsuit issue are Brooks Nader, Kim Petras and Martha Stewart.
