Megan Fox deletes Instagram as fans predict MGK 'split' linked to Rihanna's Superbowl gig

Megan Fox 's Instagram account has disappeared amid rumours regarding her relationship with fiance Machine Gun Kelly.

The Transformer actress, 36, wiped all traced of her rapper beau, 32, over the weekend - sparking speculation the mum-of-three has called off their engagement.

But some fans have done some detective work and think Megan is just orchestrating a huge Superbowl publicity stunt - with Eminem predicted to come out as a surprise guest during Rihanna's upcoming half-time performance.

Before her Instagram account disappeared, raven-haired beauty Megan posted a bathroom mirror selfie along with a Beyonce lyric reading: "You can taste the dishonesty/ it’s all over your breath."

The lyrics are taken from Pray You Can Catch Me, the opening track from Queen Bey’s 2016 Lemonade album which was all about her husband Jay-Z's infidelity.

As fans speculated in the comments about what Megan's Instagram activity could mean, one suggested MGK - real name Colson Baker - had cheated on the actress with their mutual pal, Sophie.

"He probably got with Sophie," the Instagram user wrote.

To which another user replied: "They were flirting big time in the beginning when she first started playing with him."

However, Megan proved that she wasn't going to let the speculation slide, as she replied: "Maybe I got with Sophie."

Just hours on from replying to one of her fans on Instagram, Megan's Instagram page appears to have been deactivated - with her public profile no longer available on the social media site.

Amid Megan's cryptic posts and spree of deleting snaps of MGK, fans have been speculating if the Instagram drama could all just be a publicity stunt for the Superbowl.

Many have noted the choice of lyrics Megan chose as the caption for her last Instagram post was posted during Drake's pre-Superbowl party.

"Tweeted about the Machine Gun Kelly / Megan Fox drama for a second then remembered what day it is and realized there's like a 65 percent chance it's to hype up an ad where they're sitting on the couch eating PopChips or something," one Twitter user mused on Sunday as Megan deleted her Instagram account.

Another added: "Wondering if the Megan Fox MGK drama is some PR sh** for the Super Bowl.

"Dishonesty comment, burning a letter, following Em, who may be Ri’s surprise guest tonight, etc.

"She prob archived her photos with MGK & they’re actually fine."

The music video for Eminem and Rihanna's 2010 hit Love the Way You Lie saw Megan star Lost actor Dominic Monaghan as they portrayed a violent relationship - with a burning house shown at one point during the video.

"All this Machine Gun Kelly/Megan Fox talk on Super Bowl Sunday is making me think we are about to be punked or something. Like they will have a commercial of them eating chips on a couch," a third added on Twitter as fans discussed just what is going on between Megan and the rapper.

People will have to wait until Rihanna's highly-anticipated performance to find out if the fan theory is true.
