The England national team's Euro 2020 journey ended in all too familiar heartbreak last night as they lost out on penalties to Italy.
Spectators made the trip to Wembley to watch the nail-biting final in which Luke Shaw's opener was cancelled out by Leonardo Bonucci's close range effort.
Among those in attendance were the wives and girlfriends of the England stars who turned out to support the players for the momentous occasion.

And Jordan Pickford's wife, Megan Davison, revealed on Instagram ( @megan_davison_ ) that she travelled to the game with Harry Maguire's fiancée, Fern Hawkins, in the latest chapter of their blossoming friendship.
The Everton stopper's wife posted on her Instagram Stories a picture of the two on the same coach going to the game wearing matching England hats.
The caption read: "Next stop Wembley."
The duo seem to have built up a strong relationship during the tournament as they have celebrated England's blistering surge to the final in style.
They travelled to the semi-final game in a luxury party bus and also spent the Saturday before the final enjoying a pamper night - as MirrorOnline reports.
Fern shared on her Instagram stories ( _fernhawkins ) that the makeover continued the morning of the game as the two friends received matching curly blow dry's ahead of the big match - which she posted with the caption "Wembley ready."
The two friend's partners played key roles in the dramatic penalty shootout as Harry Maguire scored his spot-kick and Jordan Pickford saved two of Italy's efforts.
Unfortunately, it wasn't to be for England as they eventually lost the shootout by 3-2 to finish the competition as runner's up - meaning their 55 year wait for a major trophy continues.
