Megan Barton Hanson 'thinking about Celebs Go Dating' after Wes Nelson split

Megan Barton Hanson is reportedly “thinking about” signing up to Celebs Go Dating months after her split from Wes Nelson.

Barton Hanson, 25, split from her Love Island beau in January while he was appearing on Dancing On Ice with Vanessa Bauer, who Barton Hanson dubbed the “hottest professional”.

And now reports claim that the model is set to try find her perfect match again on another reality show, having been approached by E4 matchmaking series Celebs Go Dating.

“Bosses think Megan would be great value as most men find her irresistible,” a source told The Sun. “She’s mulling it over at the moment as everything she does she wants to properly commit to.”

The insider added that she “didn’t want to jump into anything” because it is a “big step” looking for love on a national television show again.

Standard Online has contacted representatives for Barton Hanson and Celebs Go Dating for comment.

Last week, Barton Hanson proved she was more than over her ex as she made waves on Instagram with a “disgusting” comment about a potential reconciliation.

The reality star told fans to “unfollow her” after some fans criticised her for saying she “would rather s*** in her hands and clap” than get back with Nelson.

Her crude comment came weeks after Nelson, 22, shut down any hopes fans may have had of the pair getting back together during a chat on Loose Women.

“We haven’t spoken in a good amount of time,” he said. “Sometimes its civil, sometimes it’s not. I’m happy to be civil. I’m not malicious or bitter. Whatever happens, happens.”

Asked if they would ever get back together, he replied: “I don’t think so no. It’s sad but sadly I don’t think so."
