Megan Barton Hanson has hit back at a number of social media followers after taking severe abuse from them about her lips.
The 25-year-old Love Island contestant was provoked to react after receiving a string of spiteful and mean spirited comments about her appearance - after seemingly undergoing lip fillers.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Megan shared a particularly pouty photograph of herself wearing a pink dress.
She captioned the image: “Out out” along with a pair of lips emoji - seemingly wanting to highlight how lusciously plump her lips looked.

However, the reality star perhaps didn’t anticipate the slew of offensive comments she would receive - with many criticising her appearance.
Highlighting a few of the choice criticisms - including one that said “Chill on the lip fillers not looking to good” - Megan rounded on those who were giving her abuse, noting that they were all female.
“All women putting me down. Blows my mind,” the TV star wrote as she hit back via Instagram Stories.
She hinted the abuse she receives is making her hesitant to use social media at all.

“Since I’ve had this platform I post a lot less than most ‘influencers’ displaying my bounce lifestyle!” she wrote.
She then said she tries to champion the achievements of other women - and despaired that she wasn’t given the same respect.
“I try my best to actively make a difference for women, spoken out about things that are usually brushed under the carpet,” she wrote - before going on to criticise women for slating her.
