Megan Barton Hanson gets sex writer job as she admits she's blocked from Hinge

Megan Barton Hanson has a new job as a sex columnist.

Love Island launched her showbiz career in the reality TV world and now she's got a job writing as a sex correspondent for Vice.

Her romance life has been thrown up in the air by the coronavirus pandemic in the third national lockdown.

But she's already has been blocked from dating app Hinge because she said it thinks she's "a catfish".

In a confessional mood, Megan admitted she's a "bit of a serial dater" when she talked about her dating habits.

She said: "I'm a bit of a serial dater. There'll always be someone on the go, even if it's just flirty texting, but there's not much for single people to do right now.

"We're still in lockdown and it would be great to have a Netflix partner to watch all these new shows with, plus I'm currently blocked from Hinge because it thinks I'm a catfish."

Megan had her first taste for fame on Love Island where she made the final with Wes Nelson.

The couple moved in together but their romance didn't survive the outside world and overnight fame.

They split amid rumours Wes had grown close to his Dancing on Ice partner Vanessa Baeur during his stint on the show.

She told The Sun : "I first fell in love with a girl when I was 16, but it wasn't even in a sexual way.

"I never saw her just in that way, but we'd like hang out, and one thing led to another.

"We would do everything together. I found her more and more attractive, and not even the way she looked, just like the way she was in general. I just feel like I have a deeper connection with women."
