In a presidential primary season that almost defies description, many questions could be answered at the polls on Tuesday. Will Donald Trump continue his dominance? How many Republican candidates will be lost? Can Bernie Sanders pull off another huge upset?
Five states are holding their presidential primaries on Tuesday: Florida, Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina and Ohio. Florida and Illinois are of particular interest because they are the home states of Marco Rubio and John Kasich, respectively. If either loses in their home state, it could signal the end of their presidential campaign.
Polls ahead of Tuesday's primaries show Donald Trump leading in Florida, Illinois, Missouri and North Carolina. Mr Trump and Mr Kasich are neck-and-neck in Ohio. Democratic polls show Hillary Clinton leading in all states, but Mr Sanders is closest in Illinois.
