Summer might not be over just yet but those in charge of finding presents for children have already started looking ahead to Christmas.
A deal at high street store The Works has been shared on a social media group for bargains and great deals and hundreds of people have commented.
The card, stationary and occasion store has a deal on children's books that can see customers walk about with 10 books and pay £10.
Some have said this is the perfect stocking filler while others have said it's what they do every year for the run up to Christmas morning.
The first post said: "Anyone with children, grandchildren etc. Get to “The Works” - 10 for £10 on books. This should have come to £60.90 and I got them all for £10! Great for birthday and Xmas pressies"
Elsewhere someone else took full advantage of the deal: "The works have a huge sale on kids books. 10 for £10. Some have 3 for £5 stickers on or no sticker, I asked they still come in the 10 for £10 offer."
One grandmother had a clever idea for a book advent calendar: "I always buy these and do my grandson a book advent calendar. He opens a new book each day in December x"
"We could do with some of these ill put them on our list xxx," said another shopper.
Lastly, one shopper shared a tip for when kids are done with the books: "We love these and collect loads! When we read them too many times we donate them to the Morrisons children book bin where they put them out for other children to pick up because they are such a bargain!!"
