A 16-year-old girl who is the UK's youngest pilot has been offered the chance to fulfil her career dreams thanks to easyJet.
Ellie Carter became the youngest person in Britain to fly a UK aircraft back in January.
Now she has been offered a mentorship where she will learn to fly with easyJet, out of Bristol Airport.

Ellie, from Devon, says she's been interested in flying "since she can remember" and at just 14 she became Britain's youngest glider, completing two six-minute glider flights.

She said: “Flying absolutely amazes me and continues to surprise me and so I can see how rewarding a career as a pilot could be.
“I hope that my story will encourage young girls to accomplish whatever they set their mind to, because if I can do it, so can they.”
Just one in 20 of the world's pilots are women, something easyJet hopes to change. The budget airline hopes Ellie's story will inspire more young girls to become pilots.
One of the company's training captains, Zooe Ebrey, who is Ellie's mentor at Bristol Airport, said: “It’s fantastic to meet such a passionate young commercial pilot in the making.
“Ellie’s drive, determination and achievements to date are impressive and I look forward to helping her on her journey.”
