Meet the woman who draped Katrina Kaif's wedding wear to perfection

Indian film actress Katrina Kaif's wedding to Vicky Kaushal has made news across the world. Not only did the couple end up surprising a lot of people with their union, but they also left most fans impressed with their wedding refinery. While Vicky looked dapper in most of his outfits, his beautiful wife Katrina walked away with all the attention, thanks to her near-perfect wedding looks. A team work went into Katrina's bridal looks and one person who played a very important role in making her clothes look all fairytale-like was none other than Dolly Jain, a popular sari draper.

While Katrina's clothes were styled by celebrity stylist, Anaita Shroff Adajania, they were draped to perfection by Jain, who has draped wedding ensembles for the likes of Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor and Isha Ambani.

For her pre-wedding festivities, Kat opted for a modern sari with a veil and Dolly pleated the sari articulately, with it comfortably sitting on Kat's shoulder so she could be hands free, hold the bouquet and move the other one around.

For Kat's first function, the Mehendi, Dolly revealed on Instagram that the brief she received was simple! "She wanted to let her hair down and dance the night away. Her gorgeous mustard @sabyasachiofficial lehenga was draped in a way where she could dance her heart out, without it moving an inch, while letting her beautiful jewellery be the star on her neck!," Dolly added in her post.

On her wedding day, Kat wore a royal red lehenga by Sabyasachi and Dolly chose the 3 C's approach to drape the lehenga - classic, clean and crisp. "These 3 C’s are always essential when the lens is on you for long hours and you don’t want to be bogged down by the weight, but enjoy thoroughly from start to end. Left no room for any fiddling or fidgeting of any kind - ensuring every angle of this extra papped bride was pinned perfectly - back, front, side everywhere," Dolly revealed on Instagram.
