A massive Christmas celebration will get families in the festive spirit when it arrives in Leeds city centre this weekend.
The Merrion Centre's Magical Christmas event will see a host of big performances from a number of exciting acts and kids will be able to meet the stars of smash Dreamworks movie Trolls.
The popular family attraction is returning for another year of fun, with the brand-new immersive Santa’s Grotto experience taking the event to the next level.
Giant candy canes on stilts will be giving away Christmas goodies, including a raft of discounts and offers, while a mesmerising snow lion will wander through the crowds.
The free event starts at 12pm on Saturday, November 9, with acts and performances continuing throughout the afternoon until until 4.30pm.
James Broughton, head of marketing and PR for Town Centre Securities said: "We welcomed over 15,000 visitors throughout the course of our Merrion’s Magical Christmas 2018, and are committed to making the event even bigger and better this year with another jam-packed agenda.
