Meet the super cute puppies which have joined GMP's Dog Unit

Meet the gorgeous new puppies which have been recruited by GMP's Tactical Dog Unit.

The super cute litter of nine German Shepherds have been pictured playing and snoozing before their serious police training begins.

They may look adorable and harmless, but the puppies - who are just over seven weeks old - will be transformed into a mini pack of crime-busters in no time.

The new recruits were first introduced to Mancunians on GMP Tactical Dog Unit's Twitter account at the end of October.

The post said: "Hello World! Meet ‘paws’-ibly the cutest new additions to the Greater Manchester Police Dog Unit.

"This litter has four male and five female pups, more snaps coming soon #pupdate."

The pups went down a storm with social media users, with scores of people commenting on how cute they looked.

Michele replied: "Awww can I steal them all please?"

While another social media user wrote: "Gorgeous, welcome you fluffy bundles."

On Halloween, the group were pictured getting some practice in by messing around with pumpkins.

Then this morning, Friday (November 7), the same account posted more pictures of the dogs cuddling up to each other for a snooze.

Linda commented: "Beautiful, beautiful puppies. I love them..."

And Sileas Warriner added: "Absolutely beautiful, i don't know how you can cope with all that cuteness."
