Meet the Dublin teens who opened a sustainable vintage clothing store during the pandemic

With shopping local and sustainable fashion being all the rage, this pair of 18-year-olds have decided to strike while the iron is hot by opening their own vintage clothing store.

Business savy Dubliners Sean Parnell and Rionach Ní Dhonnchú launched Vintro Vibe in the hopes of cutting down fast fashion by "by giving clothes from the past a new life".

It all started when Drumcondra girl Rionach asked if anyone was interested in starting a business on her private Snapchat story.

Finglas lad Sean told Dublin Live: "I'm doing business and she's doing marketing. I had always thought about [starting a business] and never really had tried anything."

Not ones to let a global pandemic get in the way of their dreams, the pair spent the second lockdown coming up with a plan of action.

Sean added: "So we threw around a few ideas and came up with vintage clothing because it would be kind of handy and especially since we can get stuff delivered and sent out.

"There isn't much contact at the moment anyway so it was handy enough."

Vintro Vibe has collection points in Finglas and Drumcondra and they ship across Ireland.
