Meet the 11 lovable Edinburgh dogs in need of a forever home

Due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis, the Dogs Trust's rehoming centre for Edinburgh is currently closed to the public.

However, the centre in West Calde, West Lothian is now able to start looking for new homes for some of the amazing dogs in their care.

Self-isolation is tough for everyone but there's never been a better time to dedicate attention to a new four-legged friend who needs love and care.

With only a small number of dogs ready for a new home immediately, the Dog's Trust expect them to be very popular as they temporarily trial a new 'handover at home' service where they come to you.

There's a lot of beautiful pooches looking for a home at the centre but 11 are currently available to adopt right now:

Brian

(Edinburgh Dogs Trust)

Brian, a 2 year-old Beagle cross is an energetic boy that is playful and loves being around people and enjoys sitting on knees for a cuddle!

Brian loves a fuss and can live with children from the age of 10 and over.

Clyde

(Edinburgh Dogs Trust)

Clyde is a 6 month old collie that wants to be kept busy and on the go! He can take his time to get to know new people but is super sweet and playful.

Danny enjoys jumping in the car to go on new adventures. He has so much love to give and would be forever happy if someone could give him lots of love back.

Eva
