- He was born at just 21 weeks of gestation, 133 days earlier than his due date, and weighed only 10 ounces.
- Nash spent six months in the neonatal intensive care unit at the University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children’s Hospital before going home in January.
- His mother, Mollie Keen, described him as a happy, determined, and curious baby, despite his extended stay in the NICU.
- Now over a year old, Nash continues to receive medical support, including oxygen and a feeding tube, but his progress is considered excellent given his extreme prematurity.
