Meet Mabel, the most talented piano-playing dog you've ever seen

We bet you’ve never seen a dog playing the piano better than Mabel the Labrador cross. She’s so talented, she’s even learnt her favourite tune off by heart.

Her very human-like paws, with their opposable thumbs, also come in handy at breakfast time, when she manages to eat her cereal with a spoon, feed herself toast and delicately wipe her mouth with a napkin.

The eight-year-old pooch is certainly one of a kind. She was a rescue who faced being put to sleep before she was rehomed by the Stretch family at the age of around 11 months.

It means nobody can be sure where she got her skills from, Team Dogs reports - and you can also see a video of her showing them off over on their site.

Now Mabel is enjoying life in Clevedon, North Somerset, near Bristol, with Euan, his wife Karen, and their sons Rory, 15, and Conor, 13.

Euan said: “At first Mabel was a little camera shy, but soon grew to love being in front of the lens.

"She is very musical but found it a little difficult stretching her toes for a few of the chords, and she is an enthusiastic but very messy eater.

"Coco-pups are her favourite breakfast cereal.”
