Meet Glasgow pup Ollie the 'clever boy' looking for a forever home

Glaswegians are asked to open their hearts to a six-year-old crossbreed looking to find his forever home.

Ollie, who is currently being looked after by Dogs Trust, is extremely intelligent with a repertoire of tricks to show off and loves adding to his skill set.

The pooch is full of energy and adores having fun, however, once his batteries have run out he likes nothing more than snoozing whilst snuggling into a cosy blanket.

Ollie is at his happiest when playing with a ball, so a home with his own secure private garden where he can play would be ideal.

The playful hound would need an adult-only home with no visiting children under the age of 18.

When out for a stroll Ollie is happy wearing a muzzle and lead, which is required when he is in a public place. The crossbreed would prefer to be the only pet in the home but he is delighted when going for walks with some four-legged friends.

Ollie loves having fun (Dogs Trust)

Any family keen on adding a six-year-old to their life needs to have owned an intelligent and active dog like him before.

A spokesperson from Dogs Trust said: "Ollie would love to find a home with a family that can keep him both physically and mentally enriched. In return, you will receive so much love and witness the wonderful boy he is.

"He has so much potential which will flourish in the right home."

There are a few medical requirements which will be discussed with anyone keen to give Ollie a forever home.
