Meet five of Scotland's daftest dogs

From driving a tractor to singing along to opera, it appears Scotland's dogs are some of the world's craziest.

And we love it.

So in celebration of National Dog Day today we thought we would put together the best compilation of Scotland's daftest dogs.

Our pet pooches are our pride and joy, but sometimes even the most loving owner has to shake their head or erupt into laughter.

Meet five of Scotland's best, and daftest, dogs.

Don, the tractor driving sheepdog

Don the sheepdog caused major tailbacks after driving on to the M74 motorway during rush hour.

The Collie leaned on the controls of the farm vehicle as shepherd Tom Hamilton tended to his flock - sending it speeding across fields.

The 4x4 motored down a hill, before crashing through a fence and onto the northbound carriageway. Owner Tom, 77, said he was relieved no one was injured during the incident, and that four-and-a-half year old Don was no worse for wear following his adventure.

Cookie, the motorbike rider

An adventurous Wishaw pooch has been turning heads across Scotland - riding on top of a Triumph motorbike.

Young Jack Russell pup Cookie loves nothing more than taking a trip with owner Dave Hall. To keep her safe, Cookie wears £60 Rex Spex goggles to keep the dust out of her eyes.

Her miniature denim biker jacket is strictly for effect, to ensure she's the coolest dog in town.

Sadie, the Celtic daft dog

Celtic mad dog Sadie has a clever way of getting behind his favourite team - by standing on his back legs and clapping every time his owner says the club's name.

The seven-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, has been doing the party trick for years with owner Sean Fleeton.

Sadie - who has her own Hoops jersey - can be seen in a video dancing on her hind legs in front of a Celtic flag and clapping her front paws together as Sean's dad John roars: "Clap your hands for Celtic."

Nancy and Kes, the frisky pugs

This hilarious picture shows the moment a frisky pug photobombed her owner's wedding ceremony by mounting her canine companion.

Five-year-old Nancy stole the show by getting intimate with six-year-old Kes, also a girl, while the bride walked down the aisle.

And as Jade Logue and Barry McCausland exchanged vows at the ceremony in Glasgow they kept getting distracted by heavy breathing from the amorous pair. Jade's cousin, Cameron Laidlaw, captured the moment showing the Kes looking round with her tongue out while Nancy's little paws clutch onto her sides.

Toby, the opera singing dog

Toby, an adorable West Highland Terrier is addicted to opera - lifting back his head and howling whenever he hears the music.

The pooch has won thousands of online admirers with his musical performances. His favourite is The Magic Flute by Mozart and one video shows Toby in a van on the motorway "singing" along, as the owners erupt with laughter .
