Twizzle has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and the cattery team believe this could explain the reluctance to adopt him.

FIV is a contagious virus which tends to be transmitted by deep bite wounds.
While some cats do become unwell as a result of it, most will live long lives with no health issues. However it might be what's deterring prospective owners.
Cats with FIV have to be kept in enclosed gardens or indoors to prevent the spread.
