A brand new Mediterranean restaurant is opening in Morley soon with a tropical-style interior and an all-day bottomless brunch menu.
The grand opening of Bacchus in Queen Street is set to be later this month - just in time for the summer season. It comes after residents were left "saddened" that former eatery Different Gravy closed its doors after the owner decided to retire.
The unit was bought by a new owner, who also has beloved Mediterranean eateries Tuana Bistro in Adel, and Olive and Feta Restaurant and Lounge in Farsley. Bacchus' menu will include dishes from meat infused with Turkish spices, Greek small plates and starters, fish, casseroles, pastas, kebabs, vegetarian options, and more.

In a recent update, it was confirmed that a 90-miniute bottomless brunch will also be available for customers. Cocktail lovers can get prosecco, standards sprits and mixers, house wine, San Miguel, Sex On The Beach, Mojitos, and soft drink unlimited for the hour and a half.
Work is progressing on the design of the restaurant, which bodes a colourful interior with a plant wall, plush velvet seats, and a modern tropical feel. A large outside seating area has been created with black fencing with a large gold sign on, and planting boxes opposite sliding doors so customers can enjoy in or outdoor dining.
A representative for Bacchus said: "We are making some fantastic progress with the work we need to carry out to provide you with the best most authentic Turkish fine dining experience you can have. We promise to give you plenty of time to book before the grand opening."
The restaurant opening will bring a number of job opportunities to the area with front of house, chef, assistant chef, breakfast and lunch chef, and kitchen porter roles available.
